CSC Charity Auction 2014

The CSC Charity Auction was an amazing success this year. The theme for this year's auction was "Casino Royale" this gave those who attended an awesome opportunity to dress up and have an fun night out for a great cause. With the help of Lt. Col. Prather as auctioneer and the many members who contributed to the planning the auction CSC was able to raise $28,049 for scholarships and donations. This has been the most successful auction to date and CSC is thankful for all the support from both Cannon AFB and our local community.

 

Time Flies When CSC Has Fun: October and November Social Events

October and November have flown by as the CSC membership celebrated in style. First, with the "Monster Mash Halloween Bash" on October 30th. Followed quickly by "Turkey Bowling" on November 13th.

During the "Monster Mash Halloween Bash" members enjoyed food, games and music from a local DJ. They also participated in a costume contest with several categories and trophies for the winners.

"Turkey Bowling" was a great social with a relaxed atmosphere. Members enjoyed bowling, food and a little competition. Enjoy the pictures from both events below:

Back to School Trivia Luncheon

While it rained outside our CSC membership stayed inside and enjoyed the "Back to School Trivia Luncheon". School is back in full swing and our members were put to test stretching their minds to answer questions from varied subjects including Science, English, History & Government, and Geography. The members worked in teams, and the winning team received a "diploma of academic excellence". We hope that those who attended had an awesome time, and if you were unable to attend we hope to see you at our next event on October 30 (The Monster Mash Costume Bash).

The "Speed Meeting"

We ended the summer and started a new CSC year with the "Speed Meeting" social. This social introduced members to one another in speedy fashion. Attendees enjoyed food, drink and awesome raffle prizes. Information booths were also available to help members get plugged in to the club. This amazing night went by too quickly (as speedy things often do), so we hope to see you back for our "Trivia Luncheon" on September 18th so we can enjoy some more fun and amusement CSC style.  #cannonspouses
